1. Rich palettes

Rich colours are in this year. This is a nice change from the paler shades we have seen over the past few years. We are loving this bold new palette.
2. Going groovy

The 1970s are back! This retro look is one of the biggest 2019 Interior Design trends. Just watch that you do not fall into the trap of going all-out on a retro trend, only to feel like it is too much in a couple of years from now. Instead, have pops of the trend or embrace it through smaller elements – like pillows – that can be easily and cost-effectively replaced.
3. Agate wallpaper

Agate wallpaper is by far one of the most unique, eye-catching trends of the year. Not only is agate wallpaper the perfect conversation starter for parties, but it also brings a pop of colour to your home. There are plenty of options too, so you can take the look in a bolder or more subtle direction, depending on what you want.
4. Pops of copper

Copper is one of the biggest metal trends of 2019. While some people are really going all out, we think this trend is best used as an accent. Consider incorporating it in through lamps, chandeliers, taps, or even chair legs.
5. Natural elements

6. Geometric tile

Tile has been a hot trend for a couple of years now. This year’s style favours bold geometric tiles. Depending on the tile you choose, you can create the illusion of texture, spark a playful atmosphere, or wow guests.
7. Velvet pieces

Of course, with the ‘70s being in, velvet is back too. With this 2019 Interior Design trend, a little goes a long way. Consider incorporating velvet with a statement piece like a large chair or couch. Choose a piece in a richer colour to draw extra attention to its texture.
8. Seeing red
